Restaurant Website Comparison
I have recently noticed that a lot of restaurant websites are outdated and are hard to navigate.

When looking for a restaurant to visit for dinner I usually research restaurants by proximity on Google, by food type or best rated restaurants.

Once I find a restaurant, I check their website (if they even have one) for the menu, almost half of the time it takes me a couple minutes to find the menu because it's usually a PDF that I find linked from some sub-page.

As well, if a restaurants website has an outdated or plain bad design I tend to be turned off that website right away and continue on to the next one. You get one chance to draw in a potential customer.

Most restaurants have recently updated their interior space to modernize it but leave their websites alone. The key to a strong company identity is to keep all of your assets looking the same with a strong focus on the company logo and color scheme. If a potential customer visits a website and stays to view the menu, then decides to go to the restaurant it's a good idea to make sure the physical location logo and colors match the brochure or website design to make it as easy as possible for that customer to find you.
